SINGER-songwriter Tanita Tikaram has been added to the bill for the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert.
Pop and folk artist Tikaram released her debut album, Ancient Heart, in 1988. The album, which featured singles 'Good Tradition' and 'Twist in my Sobriety' sold around four million copies worldwide.
Her ninth studio album, Closer to the People, was released in 2016. This was followed by the release of a compilation album, To Drink to the Rainbow, in 2019.
She joins Van Morrison, The Staves and the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir at the event, presented by Glastonbury Festival, which will return for its 25th anniversary on Saturday, September 4.
The evening will conclude with its traditional fireworks finale.
Tickets are on sale now, costing £40 for adults and £20 for children aged up to 16.
Overnight options are available in the nearby campsite at the foot of the Tor.
