TAUNTON Freemasons from Vivary Lodge No 8654 have been raising funds for the Guide Dogs charity.
Vivary’s current master John Rudge was recently pleased to present a cheque for £700 to the Taunton branch of the association.
Dave Arney, his wife Sylvia and her guide Isis were handed the cheque.
The Taunton branch of the Guide Dogs association was founded in 1958, since which it has raised more than £1million.
Vivary Lodge spokesperson Ed Richings said: "We are very pleased to be able to add to the association's funds in its valuable work in training and providing guide dogs to visually-impaired owners."
