WE thought you might like to see these pictures showing how work is progressing on a 2,000-home development on the edge of Taunton.
The homes are being built at Orchard Grove, in Comeytrowe.
Before anyone can move in though, a roundabout and infrastructure must be complete.
Motorists on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington will have noticed work being carried out on constructing a roundabout for access onto and off the new community.
The new housing estate will also feature a school, local centre and other amenities.
The new community is being developed by a consortium of home builders - Taylor Wimpey, Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and LiveWest.
A spokesperson said disruption to traffic will be kept to a minimum during the construction of the roundabout.
