A MAN who fell over at Taunton Station was punched and kicked in the face and then headbutted.
British Transport Police officers are investigating the incident at the train station on Thursday, August 26, at 10.58pm.
They have issued a CCTV image of in connection with the assault.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "A man fell over in front of a group of men.
"One of the men from the group then began punching and kicking him in his face while he was on the floor, and headbutted him.
"Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
"If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 658 of 26/08/21.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
