CHRISTMAS is still 100 days away, but some Somerset supermarkets and shops are nearly ready for the festivities already.
Lidl on Castle Street, Taunton, has a display containing mince pies, stollen bites, lebkuchen hearts and even mulled wine.
Sainsbury's Hankridge Farm superstore is also stocking some September Christmas goodies, including Christmas puddings, panettone and mincemeat puffs.
Elsewhere, Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre's impressive Christmas display is in place, with more to come over the coming weeks to give the shop a Christmassy "wow factor".
A sign in the Monkton Heathfield centre says: "Christmas stock already? Really?!
"Our Christmas team is small and the amazing displays they create take a number of weeks to construct.
"By the time November arrives and everyone is ready to shop for Christmas, this area will be full of 'wow factor!'"
With Christmas 100 days away, we want to see any Christmas displays that are already proudly in place in Somerset and hear your views about the holiday's tendency to 'come earlier every year'.
Have you spotted any grand Christmas displays around the county, and what do you think of them?
Or perhaps you run a local store, and your Christmas stock is already on the shelves?
Have you already started Christmas shopping, or even decorated your house?
You can get in touch using the form below.
100 days until Christmas: Have you seen any Christmas displays in Somerset shops?
If you have taken any pictures of Christmas displays in Somerset supermarkets or shops, send them in! With Christmas still 100 days away, we are also interested in hearing people's views on early Christmas displays or decorations, love them or loathe them. Submissions may be published on the Somerset County Gazette website.
