A MAN from Somerset has received 180 hours of community service after being found in possession of two class A drugs in 2020.
Terry Lee Maidment, 41, from Barley Close in Wells, plead guilty in Bristol Magistrates court last week.
He now has to complete two lots of unpaid community work each set at 180 hours by the court.
He also has been fined £180.
Maidment was found with 2grams of crack cocaine and 1.8grams of diamorphine (heroin) on his person in October 2020.
The court said the defendant's guilty plea was taken into consideration upon sentencing.
