BHANGRA is coming to Somerset!

RSVP, a Bhangra band from Bristol who blend traditional Punjabi folk music with Western musical influences, will be in Porlock for a show later this month.

"Highly entertaining and interactive they use the universal language of music and dance to communicate across all cultures and ages," said a spokesperson.

"With musicians drawn from one family, wholly rooted in an authentic living tradition but unafraid to innovate, this is the ultimate celebratory Indian music."

The band has graced massive stages at Glastonbury and Womad, as well as the Watchet Music Festival, and are set to get music lovers on their feet.

Tickets for the show, at Porlock Village Hall, are available from Porlock Visitor Centre or wegottickets.com, priced £10.

On the night, the music starts at 8pm, doors and the bar, open from 7.30pm.
