WELLINGTON residents enjoyed a weekend of fun at the end of last month.
Many flocked to Welly Welcome Weekend, which consisted of a street fair on the Saturday (September 25) and a Proms in the Park on Sunday (September 26).
A spokesperson for Wellington Town Council said the weekend was 'wonderful'.
"We would like to thank everyone," they added.
"For the Street Fair - stallholders, performers, councillors, and volunteers all came together to make the whole event special. We also thank the public for supporting our local businesses after such a difficult time.
"Also a huge thank you to the Friends of Wellington Park for the Proms in the Park which was a great success."
