FIREFIGHTERS have dealt with a small fire in a commercial property in Blackbrook Park Avenue, Taunton.
Crews from Taunton and Bridgwater were sent to reports of a fire alarm sounding and smoke in the building at around 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival there was no sign of fire, but crews could smell smoke and started to investigate the building.
"Crews discovered a small fire in an air conditioning unit on the roof of the building and the smell of smoke was spreading through the building via the air conditioning ducting.
"The fire was already out."
The spokesperson added: "There was five per cent fire and smoke damage to the air conditioning unit and the cause was accidental."
