A MAN was left needing hospital treatment after being STABBED in the stomach in Taunton last night.
Avon and Somerset Police detectives are investigating the incident, which happened in the Morrison’s car park, off Priory Bridge Road, at around 8pm on Saturday (October 9).
The victim, a man in his 40s, required hospital treatment after sustaining a wound to his stomach. His injury wasn’t life threatening or life changing.
Detectives Inspector Andy Greaves said: “Officers were very quickly at the scene as soon as we became aware of the incident and made four arrests.
“Those arrested remain in police custody and are currently being questioned about what happened.
“Neighbourhood officers are focusing their patrols around the area to provide reassurance to the local community.”
