THE latest in a series of events to support a village high street took place this weekend.

Visitors flocked to Porlock for the wellbeing themed event on the hgh street.

Guests enjoyed massages, sound baths, and listened to music from Chloe Marie Aston on her piano bike and the Friends in Harmony choir.

“Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere on Porlock High Street,” said Duncan McCanlis, Chair of the Porlock High Street Support Group.

“Local businesses joined in by offering mocktails and healthy treats.

"The Knit & Natter bench on the high street also proved popular. Once again it showed what can be achieved when a community gets together.”

Around £100 was raised for MIND in Somerset on the day.

The final pop-up event will take place on Saturday, November 6, with a Retail Therapy theme.
