COMMUTERS heading into Taunton or on their way home have been caught up in traffic jams this week.
Resurfacing work started on Bridge Street on Monday and is set to last all week.
A section of one of the main town centre roads has been closed to traffic during the works.
Travel Somerset posted images of the work yesterday (Wednesday) on social media.
It said: "The current scene at Bridge Street in Taunton.
"Another shift of planing and laying binder tonight before we move onto surface course later this week."
