SOME time ago, a large coping stone was dislodged from this bridge on Hilly Head not far from the Barley Mow.
Three barriers were placed here one at a time - and one after another were tossed into the stream below by vandals.
Following rain all three have been washed downstream.
It is possible that they could obstruct flow in wet weather and aggravate risk of flooding in future downstream.
I have located all three. The furthest is about 100 metres downstream.
