CLARKS Village is now home to five pieces of street art from the Glastonbury Mural Trail.

The display at the shopping centre pays homage to the local community street art project, which has formed an outdoor gallery in the town and attracted tourists from around the world.

The concept for the Glastonbury Mural Trail was born in 2019 as part an exhibition for Somerset Art Week with murals created on walls and buildings throughout the town that summer.

Since its initial launch, more than 20 new murals have been painted around Glastonbury.

To celebrate the growing mural trail, Clarks Village in Street has commissioned new photography and created new vinyls within the outlet to showcase the unique artwork to its guests.

Chris Davis, centre director of Clarks Village, said: "The Glastonbury Mural Trail is as beautiful as it is inspiring, injecting colour and creativity throughout the town.

"We’re always trying to bring different things for our guests to enjoy at Clarks Village, whether it’s the latest brand and biggest discounts to events and community projects.

"As soon as we saw these murals, we knew we wanted to support them.

"We’re really excited to bring a flavour of such a vibrant and unique initiative within our centre and the positive reaction we’ve already seen from our guests has been amazing."

The new artwork display at Clarks Village can be found within Apple Court.
