POLICE have been busy stopping law breaking motorists on the M5 in Somerset this morning (Thursday, October 21).
They have taken to social media to report:
- a van being driven at 91mph;
- a 4X4Â travelling at 110mph;
- a speeding vehicle towing in the fast lane.
An Avon and Somerset Police Road Safety unit tweet says: "Today's business policing the #M5.
"Commercial vehicle being driven at 91mph.
"Driver towing in Lane 3 & in excess of the speed limit.
"Land Rover being driven at 110mph - size of vehicle will cause significant damage in a #RTC (road traffic collision) at this speed.
"All this in wet conditions."
