CLOSED: North Street, Wellington
A SECTION of a street off Wellington town centre will be closed to traffic this week.
Wessex Water is carrying out works in North Street from today (Monday, October 25).
The road, off the main High Street, will be closed to vehicles for five days over the half term break.
A diversion route is signalled.
A Wessex Water spokesman said: "We’re carrying out emergency work to fix a water leak, which has meant we’ve had to temporarily close the road for the repairs to take place.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this work, which will be completed as quickly as possible.”
