THREE children in Taunton have been raising money for Musgrove Park Hospital by litter picking.
Children aged eight, 11 and 13 took part in the litter pick at Galmington Park, and collected donations for the children's ward at the hospital.
They raised almost £100.
Ellie, 11, who took part in the litter pick, said: "We wanted to raise money for the children's ward at Musgrove hospital because there are poorly children who need looking after there.
"We decided to pick up lots of litter that is always left at our park.
"People started donating money for our cause so we we carried on and then we donated nearly £100 to the children's ward."
Curtis, aged 8, added: "We believe that if you help people good things will always come back to you."
Suzanne Holley, Ellie's mum, said she was 'very proud' of the children.
"It would be nice if everyone could pick a little litter up per day or not drop their litter at all," she added.
