FIRE crews from Somerton dealt with a large barn fire yesterday morning (October 27).
The blaze is at a barn in Aller, near Langport.
The A372 from Langport to Aller is was closed yesterday morning and a diversion was in place for a 'considerable' amount of time.
Drivers were being asked to follow an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Somerton, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Martock, and Street have been in attendance at a barn fire near Langport.
"On arrival crews stated the barn was well alight. Crews dampened down the surrounding areas to prevent any escalation."
