  • - CHANCELLOR of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak has today delivered his Autumn Budget in the House of Commons, where he set out plans for a post-coronavirus economy
  • - The Budget and Spending Review announced £5 million in funding to progress plans for railway stations in Wellington and Cullompton, which have not had rail links since 1964
  • - The 2021 Budget will also see £10.1 million invested to provide a package of improvements along to A38 corridor north of Bridgwater
  • - Responding to the Budget announcement, shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves said: "In the long history of this Parliament, never has a chancellor asked the British people to pay so much for so little"
