TWO Taunton shop owners got a taste of the celebrity life during a night our in the town last week.
Susie Thomas and Jeanette Crawford, co-owners of The Courtyard store Rocket and Bird, met theatre star Lee Mead TWICE in the County Town.
The Any Dream Will Do star was in town to perform at the Brewhouse Theatre with his show, My Band and Me, on Thursday (October 28).
The pair's first meeting with the star came at town eatery, Hubbox.
They said: "‘Staff night out’ to The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre to watch Lee Mead this evening - and look who we bumped in to in Hubbox.
"Gotta say it’s the worst ever selfie of Bird but there’s no way I’m not posting this!
"Thanks for humouring us Lee and looking forward to a great show!"
Then, at the Brewhouse, the pair were snapped with the star once again, posting: "We just had to go back for another photo as the last one was not great.
"Lee (first name terms) was brilliant tonight, especially loved singing along to Any Dream Will Do at the end with our lovely seat neighbours.
"Great fun! Just what we needed after a full-on week last week.
"Please take the time to take time out, go for a drink, watch a show at the theatre, enjoy a meal with a friend. I promise you, you won’t regret it!"
AT THE SHOW: Later at the Brewhouse in Taunton
