TAUNTON Town are back in action this coming Tuesday night as they host Truro City in the Pitching In Southern League Cup.

Manager Rob Dray said he is "expecting a tough game" from Truro at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.

On Saturday Truro recorded a 3-1 away victory over Merthyr Town in the league which has taken them to tenth in the table.

"Truro are a tough side, and as we have seen this season every team can get a result against anyone, so we need to be at our best," Dray said.

The Taunton players are rested after a break of over a week since their last fixture.

This break was enforced because of a number of rearranged fixtures due to opponents cup commitments.

In the time off, the team has been training hard and also enjoying some team bonding sessions.

Taunton will look forward to another game at home, something that has been somewhat of a rarity for them this season.

Their last home game was over three weeks ago on October 16.

Rob Dray told the Gazette earlier this week "the home fans make a big difference for us".

Kick off for the game is 7:45pm and the weather forecast is predicted to be dry but cold.

You can get your tickets for that game online through Taunton Town's website or on the gates where you can pay cash or card now.
