A COACH and caravan was completely destroyed after a blaze in Coleford yesterday evening (November 14).
Fire crews from Frome and Shepton Mallet attended the incident around 5.45pm.
A neighbouring caravan was also damaged by the blaze.
"The fire involved a coach and caravan, which were both one hundred percent destroyed by fire," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"One coach was well alight, surrounded by at least two caravans. Crews got to work with a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a main jet to prevent escalation.
"A neighbouring caravan was fifteen percent damaged by heat, and one fifteen kg cylinder was removed from fire and is now a safe temperature.
"Equipment used included one hose reel, one main jet, one thermal image camera and two breathing apparatus."
