POLICE are seeking a motorist who deliberately rubbed a tissue containing faeces across a woman's face.
The incident happened while the woman was walking along a road in Cheddar accompanied by her daughter.
A Somerset and Avon Police spokesperson said the car driver deliberately drove through a puddle causing water to splash over them on the B3135 Twwentown.
The motorist then got out of his silver Mercedes E250 Coupe near the Essar Oil service station.
The spokesperson said: "He rubbed a tissue containing faeces across the woman’s face from behind while shouting and swearing at her.
"The offender is described as white, around 6ft 2ins tall, of muscular build with short blond hair, blond stubble and blue eyes.
"He wore black joggers and a dark blue adidas hoodie."
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 and provide the call handler with the reference number 5221257167.
