FLORAL tributes have been left outside the home of a Somerset couple who died on Sunday night.

Messages have been left with the flowers at the home of Stephen and Jennifer Chapple, in Dragon Rise, Norton Fitzwarren.

The couple, in their thirties, were found by police with serious injuries after an incident at around 9.45pm on Sunday (November 21). They died at the scene.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder, with one later released 'under investigation'.

One of the messages read: "Jennifer you lit up the street with your smile.

"You and Steve have been such wonderful friends since you arrived in our lives. Such a kind and welcoming couple.

"You have left a void that will be felt across all those who knew you.

"Words cannot express how much we'll miss you both."

We have withheld the names of those who left the messages.

Another read: "Can't stop thinking about you all.

"I'm so, so sorry."
