A COLLECTION of photographs from Club Kongo Presents is on display in Taunton from today (November 27).

Steve Driskel of Soul Photography has attended the Club Kongo nights over the past four years, and is displaying his photographs at the club nights venue, The Creative Innovation Centre (CIC).

Bands featured include: Oh! Gunquit, The Embrooks, Palooka 5, Mimi and the Miseries, The Mudd Club, Bullybones, Delta 88, Leathers, The Voodooms, The Sensation Seekers, The Sinictones, Charlton Lane, Giant Robot Bodies, 51st State, The Hawkmen, Lee Grimshaw, Luther ‘Big Dog’ Dixon and fab go go girls The Go Gets.

Steve said: "Club Kongo is a great project to be part of and I thoroughly enjoy these events showing off fantastic original bands from all over the country.

"The CIC is such a great venue to shoot at, and the folk there are very supportive of the local arts scene in and around Taunton.

"It's an absolute joy to work with everyone involved with Club Kongo.

"It's a great night out for everyone who can appreciate good original music performed by very talented musicians."

The exhibition runs until Saturday, December 4.
