POLICE broke up a car meet at a Somerset beauty spot yesterday evening (Sunday, December 5).
Several officers attended the incident at Cheddar Gorge.
It is the latest in a line of incidents at the location, with police called to a number of incidents there in recent months,
Sedgemoor and Hinkley Point Neighbourhood Policing were sent to disperse the vehicles, along with local policing units and an operational support team.
They invoked their anti social behaviour powers to clear the area.
A Sedgemoor and Hinkley Point spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a car meet in Cheddar Gorge on Sunday evening.
"Officers from the neighbourhood policing team along with local policing units and operational support team attended the Gorge and managed to clear the meet quickly using our ASB powers."
