TAUNTON clubbers will be in for a treat this weekend when two Ibiza DJ legends will bring their music to town.
Popular DJs Brandon Block and Jonathan Ulysses will be at The Cricketers, 15 High Street, on Friday, December 10.
Block, one of the most successful house DJs throughout the 90s, emerged from the London glam house scene and then on to becoming an Ibiza legend through his residency at a world-leading Space nightclub.
Also appearing will be another Ibiza DJ legend, Jonathan Ulysses, the undisputed Ibiza legend and king of the infamous terrace DJ ideal.
The longest-standing resident DJ of Space Ibiza, with a staggering 19 seasons under his belt, before its final and sad closure in 2016.
Jonathan held the enviable position of playing music for numerous respectable brands each week and sharing the booth with some of the world’s biggest DJs including David Guetta, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Sven Vath, Roger Sanchez, and Steve Lawler, to name but a few.
This is a high-caliber event for the area, and will most definitely excite the older clubbers of Somerset with its 90s classics approach, and for those that remember roadblock events such as Koolwaters at Dellers Wharf, Az Oz at Kingstons, and Karanga at Tropicana.
The Ibiza duo will be transforming the newly refurbished Cricketers with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, 3D club décor, and a top-spec, multi-colored laser show.
The event will start at 9pm and tickets are available from www.skiddle.com.
