STORM Barra seems to have calmed down - but don't be lulled into a false sense of security. There's more to come.
A yellow wind warning remains in place for Somerset until 6pm tomorrow (Wednesday, December 8).
This tree came crashing down in Chard earlier today as high speed winds slammed the county and further afield.
Work is underway clearing the debris on the A30 Crewkerne Road, Chard, just east of Oaklands Avenue.
A Travel Somerset spokesperson said: "Storm Barra is having an impact across Somerset already.
"A reminder to please travel carefully.
"The yellow warning is in place longer across the South West...until 6pm tomorrow."
