AFTER the huge success shown by the new ladies team at Taunton RFC there will be new girls teams starting in January.
The ladies have been training consistently on a Monday and Wednesday night since May, now the ladies would like to enhance the female offering at the club by helping to start a girls team.
Ladies coach Chris Brown said: “Due to the high numbers of enquiries we have had from mums and dads who have seen the ladies training or visited our facebook page we feel now is the right time to get a girls team together.
“This will in future allow the girls to move up the age groups into the adult ladies squad just like the boys do.”
The new girls teams will be training alongside the ladies on Monday nights from 6.30pm at the Veritas Stadium, Hyde Lane and is open to all girls aged 12 to 17.
