A GROUP of naughty elves took over Kingston St Mary Primary School on Thursday morning (December 16).
Parents spotted the elves at the school gate.
Some excited children and the elves were on hand to greet everyone, including head teacher Kim Greenslade, whose desk they sabotaged.
Children shared tales of having Brussels sprouts and snowballs thrown at them.
Tables were turned over in classrooms while the children were playing outside.
Miss Greenslade said that in all her years of experience in behaviour management it did not work on the mischievous elves.
Luckily, there was a short reprieve from their anti-social antics when Santa Claus turned up to visit the children.
The children loved seeing him and acted as a much-needed boost for everyone at the end of a term of too many disappointments.
