THE first splattering of snow in 2022 has fallen in West Somerset.
Travel Somerset has posted this image this morning (Tuesday, January 4) taken at Combeshead Cross, near Wheddon Cross, on Exmoor.
A spokesperson said: "We've got a light dusting of snow in Somerset.
"The routes have been treated, with further gritting set to take place later this evening."
