POLICE say the road is now open.
A force spokesperson said: "We were called to Bindon Road, Taunton, shortly before 8.30am this morning (Monday 10 January) following a collision involving two cars and a number of parked vehicles.
"The road was blocked while recovery work was carried out.
"We left the scene at about 9.45am and there are no reported injuries."
POLICE closed a road in Taunton earlier this morning (Monday, January 10) following a road traffic collision.
According to Travel Somerset, the incident occurred between Matalan and the A3027 Staplegrove Road during the morning rush hour.
Officers closed the road both ways at the Staplegrove Road junction, although Bindon Road was still accessible via Silk Mills Road.
