A LAND Rover and trailer was stolen from the side of the road while its owner was checking on his farm stock.
Police are appealing for information as they try to trace the thief, who struck yesterday evening (Monday, January 10) between 6pm and 6.30pm.
The vehicle was taken while it was parked up on the Priddy Road, near Green Ore, on the Mendip area.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police's Rural Affairs Unit said: "Landy and trailer was at the side of the road and stolen while farmer checked stock."
Anyone who has any information about the theft or has seen the stolen vehicle and trailer should call police on 101 quoting reference number 5222007368.
