WORK started yesterday (Monday, January 10) on an upgrade project of Cannington by-pass.
Workers from Somerset County Council are installing lighting and signage at the roundabout.
The work is scheduled to be completed in six weeks, with 30 working days set aside for the scheme.
Travel Somerset tweeted the photos of progress during the first shift last night.
