AVON and Somerset Police have asked residents of Halcon, Taunton, and Frome to fill in a short survey to help prevent crimes that affect isolated individuals.
The surveys form the first part of a new police vulnerability communications campaign.
Avon and Somerset Police have developed two surveys - one for Halcon, and one for Frome - to inform the tactics the force will use in its campaign.
Responses to the two surveys will improve the police force's understanding of community relations and how people are experiencing isolation in both places.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Your local policing team would like to learn more about community relationships and how isolation could be affecting people in Halcon (Taunton) and Frome.
"To achieve this, Avon and Somerset Police has developed a simple survey, which will inform a campaign aimed at helping to prevent crimes affecting isolated people in the community.
"If you live in either of these areas, we would like to invite you to complete a two-minute survey."
All responses will remain anonymous.
