A SET of comedy shows is coming up at Taunton Brewhouse in the next two months to laugh away those winter blues.

On January 28 at 7.30pm Shaparak Khorsandi relives the 90s in a trip down memory lane, where she found herself flying about London with hope in her heart, a tenner in her pocket, and spare knickers in her handbag.

Shaparak discovered at the age of 10 she could make people cry with laughter… and her comedy career was born. Seen on the Graham Norton Show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here (Suitable for 14+)

Rated as a five-star comedy act by The Times, Telegraph and Independent Mark Watson is heading to the Brewhouse on 18 Feb at 7.30pm and will attempt to cram a year of pathological overthinking into an hour’s stand-up.

High observational comedy meets spiritual enquiry, as Watson realises at 40 that he is halfway through his life… (Suitable for 14+)

On February 26 at 7.30pm The Make-Em-Ups: Bumper Blyton rolls into town in a riotous Enid Blyton parody for grown-ups. With an award-winning cast from stage and screen including The Comedy Store and Doctor Who, the show is a comedy, music and song extravaganza, chock full on innuendo with plenty of puns. (Suitable for 12 +)
