POLICE responded in numbers in Taunton following reports of people acting suspiciously around a motorcycle yesterday evening (Thursday, January 13).
Members of Taunton Neighbourhood Policing team along with Police Community Support Officers rushed to the scene on foot and bicycles.
Police constables in vehicles including the wider patrol team attended to support.
The suspects were promptly located but initially ran off.
A neighbourhood policing spokesperson said: "Two youths were swiftly arrested and the motorcycle retrieved.
"The victim has been a repeat victim of crime recently, so we are very pleased to be able to return the motorcycle.
"An investigation is continuing."
The spokesperson thanked the community for reporting the incident while it was in progress.
They added: "Please keep reporting these incidents and we will keep responding to them."
