THE A303 is now only closed eastbound. It has reopened westbound.

THE A303 in Somerset is closed in both directions following a serious collision this morning (Friday, January 14).

National Highways is advising drivers of the road closure between the A37 (Ilchester) and A372 (Podimore).

The closure is expected to remain in place throughout the morning due to the severity of the incident, and to allow for a police-led investigation to be safely carried out at the scene.
