A MOTORBIKE was destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Taunton in the small hours of today (Saturday, January 15).
Fire crews responded to multiple calls of a moped on fire in an alleyway in Priorswood shortly after 1am.
On arrival at the scene, crews confirmed there were two bikes in the alleyway, with one well alight.
They tackled the blaze but were unable to prevent one of the bikes being destroyed. The other was unaffected.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "The scene was left with the police. This fire was believed to be deliberate."
