A WELLINGTON woman who is recovering from cancer for the third time is holding a dance in aid of the charity SURE at Wellington Football Club on Saturday, February 23 at 8pm.
Midge Greedy, who lives in Baines Close, said: "I just wanted to give something back because Musgrove have been so good to me during my illnesses." SURE was set up to raise money for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment at the Taunton hospital.
Midge, practice manager of the dental practice ADP (formerly the High Street Dental Practice), has enlisted the services of her husband Dave to help provide the music. Dave is the lead singer of Lynx, a classic rock band first formed in 1968. Lynx will be joined on stage by Benny and the Teds who plays mostly 60s music.
Admission is by ticket only, priced at £6, available from Midge on 01823 665153.
