SOMERSET musician Andy Doran will return to an award-winning pub in Watchet next month to perform a "reportoire of cover tracks".

Andy will play a selection of modern and classic covers at the Pebbles Tavern, located in Market Street, on Saturday, April 23 from 9pm.

Andy, who is based near Bridgwater, said: “I’m thrilled to have been invited back to perform at Pebbles Tavern.

“Everyone there is so welcoming, and I can’t wait to play lots of my favourite tracks for everyone.”

Pub manager Dean Manley added: “He has played for us many times in the past and he is always a huge hit with the regulars, so we can’t wait to have him back.

“We really enjoy his repertoire of cover tracks and are looking forward to hearing a few new tunes added into the mix too.”

Andy has more than 35 years of experience as a professional musician and has played in groups including the popular function band Eye II Eye and Abraxas, a Santana tribute band.

He sings and plays the acoustic guitar at pubs, clubs, functions, restaurants, and hotel lounges across the south west - and he once performed for Prince Charles.

Pebbles Tavern specialises in real traditional ciders and was awarded the CAMRA Somerset Branch Cider Pub of the Year award for six successive years from 2014 to 2019.

On Saturday, Somerset CAMRA visited the pub to award it the 2022 Cider Pub of the Year title.

It also serves real ale from the cask in its tap room and offers a selection of single malts, gins, rums and Somerset cider brandies.
