A BRAND-new fragrance store will officially open its doors at Taunton's Orchard Shopping Centre on Saturday, April 2.
The Fragrance Shop has already welcomed its first customers and will give away goodie bags to the first 25 customers to attend its formal opening event on Saturday, .
Shoppers will also be able to enjoy discounts and free samples throughout the day.
The company was founded in 1994 and is now the UK's largest independent fragrance retailer with more than 200 stores.
It showcases over 150 fragrance brands and over 200 beauty brands at in-store and online.
Mike Cresswell, operations manager at Orchard Shopping Centre, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming The Fragrance Shop to the Orchard Centre.
“Our customers will like their wide range of fragrance brands and the store will fit in well with the portfolio of businesses in our centre and town.”
Lisa Thomas, The Fragrance Shop’s regional retail director for the south, added: “With every new store we open, we’re making The Fragrance Shop more accessible to more customers than ever before.
“We are delighted to invite the residents and visitors of Somerset to visit our new store in Taunton, as we help more and more people around the country to 'spray a little happiness' with The Fragrance Shop.”
The Fragrance Shop is housed at unit 16 of Orchard Shopping Centre.
Its new Taunton store will be open between 9am and 5:30pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Sundays.
Before the new store opened, its closest branches to local shoppers were in Exeter and Weston-super-Mare.
