BOY band McFly are among the acts that will perform at the Field of Avalon at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

McFly are best-known for their noughties pop hits including 'Five Colours in Her Hair', 'Star Girl', 'All About You' and 'Obviously'.

The band consists of singer-songwriter Tom Fletcher, bassist Dougie Poynter, lead guitarist Danny Jones, and drummer Harry Judd.

After the announcement, the band said: "Another one ticked off the bucket list. We’re so excited to be playing Glastonbury on June 26! We’ll see you there on the Avalon Stage."

Beyond their successful music careers, several of the band's members have appeared on reality shows including I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here and Strictly Come Dancing

McFly formed 'supergroup' McBusted in 2013 with fellow boyband Busted, who played the Avalon Stage in 2017.

McFly will perform in the area alongside other artists including Sugababes, Grace Petrie, Imelda May, The Damned, Hobo Jones, Oh My God! It's The Church and The Junkyard Dogs.
