GLASTONBURY Festival has confirmed that Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Chase & Status and Kurupt FM are among the acts that will perform at the Arcadia Spider this year.

The dance area of the festival will also feature performances from the likes of Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, and DJ EZ.

A festival spokesperson said: "The Arcadia Spider returns in epic style for 2022, coming home to Glastonbury with one of its biggest ever line-ups."

Arcadia added on Twitter: "Look who's back...

"The Spider's locked on to land at Glastonbury - and she's coming heavy."

Reacting to the announcement, electronic music and producer Jon Hopkins said: "Glastonbury is without doubt my favourite festival in the world.

"I'll be playing Arcadia again this year. Will be so good to be back."

After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Glastonbury Festival is set to return to Worthy Farm between Wednesday, June 22 and Sunday, June 26.

In October, festival organisers confirmed that Billie Eilish will become the youngest-ever solo headliner when she takes to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night.

Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday night - as he did in 2004 - before American rapper Kendrick Lamar brings the curtain down on the Sunday night.

In recent weeks, the festival has announced four other stage line-ups.

The Field of Avalon area will feature McFly, Sugababes and The Damned, while Fatboy Slim will perform at Silver Hayes

This year's Glasto Latino performers have also been confirmed, while comedians including Nish Kumar, Josh Widdicombe, Kerry Godliman and Jonathan Pie will take to the stage in the Theatre and Circus Fields

Other big names confirmed on Glastonbury full line-up include Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Pet Shop Boys.
