THOUSANDS of dogs descended on the Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet last weekend for The Big Bark.
The event, held on Sunday, April 24, raised funds for local pet charities and other good causes and saw dogs and their owners take part in events including the Canine Olympics, dog displays, and agility tests.
It was focused on supporting ethical dog-related businesses and promoting healthy attitudes and positive training methods among dog owners.
More than 30 exhibitors from around the south west came to promote their products and services.
There was even a doggy café and tea party, featuring party games and hats.
A spokesperson for The Big Bark said: “A fun day was had by over 3,000 pooches and humans at the Big Bark.
“The day was enjoyed by all and it was heartwarming to see all the pooches playing and meeting each other!
“We look forward to 2023.”
