WELLINGTON School has been shortlisted for two prestigious TES - formerly Times Education Supplement - awards.
It is in the running for the Independent Senior School of the Year Award 2022, while prep school teacher Aaron Warren is in the final of the Subject Lead of the Year 2022 (Primary) category.
Headmaster Eugene du Toit said: “I am immensely grateful to everyone in the Wellington family for their hard work and dedication over the past two years.
"It has been a challenging time, but we have stood together to support our wonderful pupils and it is a delight that our efforts have been recognised on a national scale."
Prep school head Vics Richardson said: “Aaron is our current English lead and as well as being a phenomenal teacher, he is an inspirational character.
"He is constantly developing his talents, pushing the boundaries of his comfort zone and never settles for anything less than perfection.”
The TES Schools Awards winners will be announced on Friday, June 17, at a gala ceremony at London’s Grosvenor Park Hotel.
