POLICE in West Somerset are appealing for witnesses following a break in at a Spar shop.
Officers were called to the convenience store in Porlock's High Street at around 1.30am yesterday (Tuesday, May 3).
The caller had been alerted by an alarm sounding at the Porlock Fayre outlet.
When police arrived on the scene they discovered the doors of the store wide open.
It has not been disclosed if anything was stolen.
