A STRETCH of a residential road on the edge of Taunton will be closed to all traffic for 16 days.
The 24-hours a day closure of two sections of Gillards, in Bishop's Hull, will be in force from Monday May 23 until Tuesday, June 7.
The temporary closure will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out works to dig and trench overlay for new fibre cabling.
A spokesperson for Somerset County Council said: "There is no alternative route for this closure.
"The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements."
