This knife was seized by police
A POLICE officer has today (Tuesday, May 17) seized this knife after it was spotted being carried by a member of the public.
It comes on the second day of Operation Sceptre, which aims to tackle and disrupt the supply of knives.
It also aims to prevent people from engaging in knife crime.
A spokesperson for Wellington Neighbourhood Policing team said: "We will be taking positive action throughout the week.
"Today PC Hatchard seized the knife present in the photo after it was seen being carried in a public place."
