SOMERSET contains dozens of spectacular walking routes and plenty of popular pubs, which have been combined in a new guide for locals and tourists alike.
The pocket-sized book, Guide to Somerset Pub Walks, was written by Laurie Page and published by Countryside Books.
The publisher has also released Somerset Dog Friendly Pub Walks, Somerset: A Dog Walker's Guide, and Somerset: A Chilling History of Crime and Punishment.
The new book contains circular routes ranging from two-and-a-half to six miles in length.

Each of the 20 routes has a walk highlights section, a map and detailed directions, parking information, details of the terrain and grid references, and shows nearby places of interest.
